Warmer Weather on the Horizon for Alabama: Scott Martin Predicts Springlike Weekend and Even Hotter Temperatures Next Week

High pressure will bring mostly sunny skies and mild temperatures to Alabama over the weekend, with highs ranging from the mid 50s to the lower 70s. Sunday will see even warmer temperatures, with highs in the lower 60s to the mid 70s.

The warm weather will continue into the work week, with Monday expected to be warm and sunny with highs in the upper 60s to upper 70s. Tuesday will stay unseasonably warm with a few clouds but no rain, and temperatures in the 70s.

A warm front may bring a few showers on Wednesday, particularly in the northern half of the state, but amounts will be light. Thursday will be partly to mostly cloudy, with a few showers possible in the northern half of the state as an approaching cold front moves in.

The front will keep showers possible from the Alabama/Tennessee state line down to the I-20 and I-20/59 corridors, with small rain chances and amounts. Highs will be in the mid 60s to upper 70s. For more weather updates, visit AlabamaWx for information from James Spann and the team.
