Tragic Traffic Accident in Baldwin County Claims Woman’s Life
Baldwin County, AL – A traffic accident early Wednesday morning has led to the tragic death of a 71-year-old woman from Orange Beach. The incident, which involved two vehicles, occurred around 10:48 a.m. on South Hickory Street.
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA), the crash involved a 2002 Chevrolet S10, driven by Margie J. Roach, and a 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee operated by 50-year-old Joanna Favela. Following the collision, Roach was transported to South Baldwin Hospital for treatment of her injuries. Unfortunately, she later succumbed to her wounds.
The ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division has initiated an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash. Further details regarding what led to the collision have yet to be released.
