Jacobe Ward, a 3-star interior offensive lineman, has committed to the Auburn Tigers, marking their second commitment in three days. Ward announced his commitment during an Instagram Live video on Saturday, joining recent commit Hollis Davidson III. Ward had narrowed his choices down to Auburn, LSU, and Tennessee before ultimately choosing the Tigers. Prior to his decision, Ward had received offers from top programs such as Alabama, Ohio State, and Miami.
Ranked as the No. 81 interior offensive lineman in the class of 2025 by 247Sports, Ward stands at 6-foot-4 and 335 pounds. He played right tackle for Benedictine Military School in Georgia, helping the team win a state title in 2022. Ward also competes in track and field throwing events.
With Ward’s commitment, Auburn’s 2025 recruiting class now boasts 16 commitments, including five offensive linemen. Alongside Ward, the Tigers have commitments from 4-star Tavaris Dice, and 3-stars Broderick Shull, Spencer Dowland, and Tai Buster on the offensive line. Ward’s addition adds depth and talent to Auburn’s roster as they continue to build their team for the future.
