The incident occurred on Friday around 12:30 p.m., just west of Dora, when a Toyota Tundra driven by 42-year-old Melissa Parker left the road and was struck by a Chevrolet Silverado. Both vehicles veered off the road, leading to the collision. Parker was fatally injured in the crash, while the driver and passenger of the Silverado sustained injuries and were transported to the hospital. It was reported by the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) that the occupants of the Silverado were not wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash.
