Alabama women’s tennis team falls to Auburn in its final home match of the season with a score of 4-3. Auburn claimed the doubles point, but Alabama fought back with singles wins from Ola Pitak, Anna Parkhomenko, and Klara Milicevic. Parkhomenko beat Flach in straight sets, Milicevic defeated Despain, and Pitak secured the final point in a three-set match against Okutoyi.
Despite the strong singles performance, Auburn ultimately captured the deciding point on court three. The Crimson Tide will wrap up their regular season with matches against LSU and Texas A&M on April 12 and 14, respectively.
In the doubles matches, Auburn’s Angella Okutoyi and Adeline Flach defeated Parkhomenko and Sedlackova, while Ali Despain and Ava Esposito Cogan downed Milicevic and Pitak.
In singles, Alabama saw wins from Parkhomenko, Milicevic, and Pitak, but Auburn secured victories on courts one and two before clinching the match on court three.
