North Alabama Lions Prepare for Clash with Wofford Terriers in ASUN-SoCon Challenge
SPARTANBURG, S.C. (November 30, 2024) – The North Alabama men’s basketball team is set for an exciting matchup against Wofford on Sunday, December 1, at 3 p.m. CST in the Jerry Richardson Indoor Stadium. This game is part of the ASUN-SoCon Challenge, which features cross-conference contests. This will be the second appearance for UNA in the challenge, following a narrow overtime loss to defending Southern Conference champion Samford.
Fans can catch the action live on ESPN+, while local radio listeners can tune in to 98.3 and 103.5 FM, starting with the “Countdown to Tipoff” at 2:40 p.m. CST. The Lions enter this game with a 5-3 record, showcasing strong offensive play, averaging 81.4 points per game while maintaining a positive turnover margin. Leading the way is Junior guard Jacari Lane, who averages 16.6 points and was recently named to the Lou Henson Early Season Watch List.
Wofford, returning home after six consecutive away games, currently holds a 2-5 record.
