Volleyball Dominates Away Game against West Alabama


The University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH) volleyball team secured a victory against West Alabama in a sweep, winning 3-0 in a Gulf South Conference match on Tuesday evening. The Chargers now hold a record of 21-3 (12-2 GSC) after defeating the Tigers, who dropped to 1-22 (0-14 GSC). The match saw contributions from nine players recording a kill, with Autumn Mayes leading the team offensively with eight kills. Elizabeth Rayhle and Mary Grace Bundrant each contributed seven kills, while Savannah Rutledge and Kelsey Gasaway provided double-digit assists. Gasaway also led in service aces with four. Defensively, Hailey Holshouser led with 12 digs, while Kaila Sisk tallied five blocks overall.

The team is now preparing for their next match against West Florida on Friday night.
