Shomari Figures, a Democratic candidate running for Alabama’s 2nd Congressional District, has received the endorsement of the Southern Poverty Law Center Action Fund. The SPLC Action Fund also endorsed Cleo Fields, a Democratic candidate in Louisiana’s newly redrawn 6th Congressional District. Both candidates have the opportunity to make history by representing their communities in Congress.
