Missouri coach Eli Drinkwitz brought a robotic dog named Tiger to his pregame interview with ESPN’s “College GameDay” as a nod to Kirk Herbstreit and Lane Kiffin who often have their dogs with them. The playful move left Kiffin speechless. On the field, Brady Cook led the No. 6 Tigers to a 27-21 victory over No. 24 Boston College, passing for a touchdown and rushing for another score. Nate Noel rushed for 121 yards and Blake Craig kicked four field goals to secure the win. Cook finished the game with 264 yards passing and a 6-yard touchdown run in the third quarter. The victory improved Missouri’s record to 3-0 for the season. The Tigers rallied from a 14-3 deficit early in the second quarter to secure the win. The strong performance on the field paired with Drinkwitz’s lighthearted antics off the field made for an eventful game day for Missouri. The Associated Press contributed to this report.
