With a career that spans government, commercial, and dual-use innovation, Tilghman brings a wealth of experience to Voyager. Previously serving as the chief engineer of Connected Warfare at Anduril Industries, he was instrumental in launching a new Joint All-Domain Command and Control strategy. He developed an Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations business area, introduced innovative software products, and opened new market opportunities. His efforts also included forming essential partnerships with the U.S. silicon technology sector to enhance defense capabilities.
Tilghman’s extensive background includes leading DARPA’s wireless AI research area, where he managed $350 million in contracts aimed at enhancing national security through advancements in electronic warfare and high-performance computing. Additionally, he has made significant contributions as a business and technology leader for Microsoft’s Azure Space Connectivity organization, where he successfully launched market-defining product lines. His tenure at Lockheed Martin’s Advanced Technology Laboratories further solidified his expertise in adaptive electronic warfare, signals intelligence, and geolocation technologies.
Tilghman holds a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology and a master’s degree in electrical engineering from Drexel University. His appointment is expected to accelerate Voyager’s mission-critical solutions, reinforcing the company’s position as a leader in technology innovation.
