The ham radio bus run by Chris Cote will be making an appearance at the upcoming Delmarva Radio/Electronics Expo on April 26 at the Georgetown CHEER Center. Cote, an amateur radio operator, uses his bus to bring the world of ham radio to students of all ages, emphasizing the technical skills and problem-solving abilities it can develop. Through ham radio, participants learn about equipment, circuit design, signal propagation, and more. Cote encourages visitors to participate in making contacts on the radios in his bus, providing an interactive experience. The expo will feature free parking, the ham radio bus, and outside radio and electronics tailgate sales. Inside, there will be displays, seminars, and equipment sales. Admission is $8 for adults and free for those 18 and younger. The event offers a unique opportunity for individuals to learn about ham radio and its potential applications in various technical fields.
