Jillian Lauren Shriner, the wife of Weezer bassist Scott Shriner, was shot by police in Los Angeles after allegedly pointing a gun at officers who were searching for hit-and-run suspects. Authorities shot her after repeatedly telling her to drop the handgun. Shriner, a journalist and author, was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and booked while hospitalized.
