Trump declares on potential war with Iran: ‘Anything is possible’, pledges to use U.S. support for Ukraine to achieve peace.

President-elect Donald Trump has not ruled out the possibility of a war against Iran during his second term, saying that “anything can happen” in a recent interview with Time magazine. Despite this, he made it clear that he wants the wars between Russia and Ukraine as well as Israel and Hamas to end. He criticized Ukraine’s firing of U.S.-made missiles into Russian territory and expressed his intention to use U.S. support for Ukraine as leverage in negotiations with Russia.

Additionally, Trump stated that one of his first acts as president in his second term would be to pardon most of the Jan. 6 rioters who were charged or convicted in the attack on the Capitol. He also mentioned his willingness to deploy the U.S. military to help with deportations of individuals in the country illegally, stating that the military could be used in case of an invasion.

While Trump claimed that he does not plan to revive the policy of separating children from their families at the U.S.-Mexico border, he did not rule it out entirely. He also expressed his support for maintaining the legislative filibuster in the Senate, despite pressure from progressive lawmakers to eliminate it.

In terms of lowering grocery prices, Trump backtracked on his campaign promise to bring down the cost of goods and services, stating that it is difficult to lower prices once they have gone up. Overall, Trump’s future plans and policies as outlined in the interview with Time magazine present a mix of controversial and potentially divisive actions.
