The Surplus Property Division of the Alabama Department of Economic and Community Affairs will be holding an auction starting this Saturday, where thousands of items from the state’s inventory will be up for bidding. The auction will include vehicles, furniture, and even a dental chair, among other items. Interested bidders can view the auction items on the GovDeals website at https://www.govdeals.com/alabamasurplus.
In addition to items from state and federal agencies, ADECA also acquires items abandoned voluntarily at various airports in the Southeast. The auction will take place from 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 1, until 6 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 9. Public viewing and inspections of the inventory will be available at the Surplus Property Division’s Montgomery Distribution Center from Wednesday, Feb. 5, to Friday, Feb. 7.
