Texas A&M Football Schedule Update: SEC Unveils 2026-29 Opponents and Annual Rivalries

Texas A&M Unveils 2026-2029 SEC Football Schedule

Texas A&M University revealed its SEC football schedule for the 2026-2029 seasons during a recent broadcast on the SEC Network, outlining its permanent opponents and matchups.

One of the key highlights is the reestablishment of the rivalry between Texas and Texas A&M. This prominent matchup, which had been on pause for 13 years, will see the Aggies host the Longhorns in College Station in 2026 and 2028. Conversely, Texas will serve as the host in 2027 and 2029, reigniting a rivalry steeped in history.

Continuing its long-standing affiliations, Texas A&M will face LSU as a permanent opponent, ensuring a consistent clash with the Tigers for at least the next four seasons. The Aggies will visit LSU in Death Valley during odd-numbered years and will host them in even years, maintaining a fixture on their schedule since 2011.

Additionally, Missouri joins the list of permanent rivals. Although the programs have only met 17 times since Mizzou’s move to the SEC from the Big 12 in 2012, they will develop their rivalry further. The Aggies will visit Missouri in 2026 and 2028 and welcome them to Kyle Field in 2027 and 2029.

Looking at the home schedule for the Aggies, the 2026 season includes matchups against Arkansas, Kentucky, and Tennessee. Notable road games in 2028 will feature those same teams. In 2027, Texas A&M will face Georgia, Ole Miss, and Vanderbilt at home, while traveling to those programs in 2029.

This comprehensive schedule outlines exciting matchups for Aggie fans and sets the stage for intense competition in the coming years.
