Survey shows that 25% of Americans are feeling bored with their lives

A recent survey conducted by Talker Research found that one in four Americans feels bored by their daily life, with many experiencing feelings of anxiety, fatigue, and frustration. The survey of 2,000 individuals revealed that over 60% of respondents feel the need for an adventure or trip to break free from their routine.

According to the survey commissioned by Storyteller Overland, a majority of respondents defined adventure as anything that takes them out of their daily routine, with warmer weather, mundane surroundings, and jealousy of others’ trips being key motivators for seeking new experiences. Despite this, only 10% felt they could be adventurous on any given day.

The ideal age for going on an adventure was reported as 42, with 36% of respondents stating that they have become more adventurous with age. However, the survey found that an overwhelming majority of respondents (83%) believe that adventure is possible at any age.

The survey also explored Americans’ travel habits, with respondents taking an average of four to five trips per year. Popular adventure destinations included Hawaii, California, Florida, Alaska, Colorado, and New York.

Overall, the survey highlighted Americans’ desire for new experiences and the importance of adventure in breaking free from the monotony of daily life. Summer Trammell, chief engagement officer at Storyteller Overland, noted that Americans are craving a break from routine and seeking opportunities for adventure. This data provides insight into the mindset of Americans and their eagerness to explore the world around them.
