TUSCALOOSA, AL — President Donald Trump delivered a spirited commencement address at the University of Alabama on Thursday, emphasizing his political achievements and controversial policies. In his nearly hour-long speech, he declared, "the election was rigged," referencing the 2020 results while asserting that his 2024 campaign would be "too big to rig."

Kyemba estimated that a couple hundred demonstrators attended the protest, while over a thousand participated in a counter-rally supported by Democratic leaders, including former Congressman Beto O’Rourke and Senator Doug Jones. They stressed the importance of grassroots movements and alumni engagement in fighting against the prevailing political climate.
