Local students from Hastings and Hudsonville were selected to showcase their innovative technology projects at the Student Technology Showcase in Lansing. The event, organized by AT&T and MACUL, aimed to highlight students’ use of digital tools such as app development, artificial intelligence, coding, robotics, and web design to enhance their learning experiences. MACUL Executive Director Tammy Maginity commended the students for incorporating technology into their everyday lessons.
Michigan Senator Darrin Camilleri and Rep. Phil Green were recognized with “Excellence in Education” awards for their efforts in connecting students with technologies and improving the state’s educational system. MACUL, an organization focused on education technology, brings educators together to share knowledge and address concerns related to computers and technology in education.
