Spring 2025 Capstone Showcase for the College of Engineering and Technology


More than 360 students showcased 121 innovative projects at the Spring 2025 Engineering and Technology Capstone Showcase held at the Quad and Global Credit Union Arena. The projects ranged from a solar cooking stone to an e-bike designed for children with autism, showcasing the creativity and expertise of the students. The event provided a platform for students to display their hard work and dedication over the course of their academic journey.

Among the impressive projects was a real-time outdoor visual alert system for Arizona hiking trails, an E-Bike Dynamometer for testing e-bike performance, an Automated Cookie Dough Divider, and autonomous delivery robots. The event drew students, faculty, and industry professionals who were inspired by the innovative solutions presented.

Senior Eric Trickey stood out with his team’s outdoor visual alert system, while Corbin Stuber impressed with the Automated Cookie Dough Divider device. Dean Paul Lambertson engaged with students, discussing projects like “FlyAZ Passport” and the AI program “Deep Magnus.”

The showcase highlighted the talent and ingenuity of the students in the College of Engineering and Technology, showcasing their ability to tackle real-world problems with creative solutions.
