The 69th edition of the Bal de la Rose (Rose Ball) took place in Monaco on March 29th, showcasing Monegasque elegance and Caribbean exoticism. Christian Louboutin, at the creative helm for the fourth year, transformed the venue into a Caribbean Eden for a Sunset Ball themed event. Prince Albert II, Princess Charlene, Princess Caroline, and other notable guests were transported into a lush forest adorned with roses and exotic flowers, complete with a beach café.
Guests enjoyed a tropical interlude with reggaeton and Caribbean music, while renowned artists such as Blanca Li and the Ebony Steel Band provided entertainment. The event culminated in a performance by EARTH, WIND & FIRE Experience by Al McKay, with hits like ‘September’ and ‘Boogie Wonderland’. DJ Carla Genus kept the party going until the early hours.
The Bal de la Rose continued its tradition of philanthropy, with funds raised going to the Princess Grace Foundation to support people in need and underprivileged children.
