The boys, Daniel and David Wu, were last seen in a residential area early in the morning. The mother and boys were driving a blue Ford Escape SUV with a Missouri license plate. The CHP raised awareness about the situation without issuing an Amber Alert, indicating there may not be immediate danger. The boys’ overall safety is still a concern. Daniel and David Wu were described as being of specific heights and weights, while their mother was also described in detail. The boys’ father, Jialiang Wu, is not missing, but it is unclear what his relationship with their mother is or if there are custody disputes. Authorities asked for people to call 911 if they spot the mother and children. The search for the boys was focused on Santa Clara County and Los Angeles County for reasons not specified.
