The University of North Alabama men’s tennis team secured a dominant 4-0 victory against the Alabama A&M Bulldogs in Florence. The Lions’ strong performance included winning the doubles point and securing three singles wins to sweep the Bulldogs. Led by standout performances from sophomore Izan Orgiles and freshman Samu Dominguez, UNA extended their winning streak to a third dual and remained unbeaten at home with a 5-0 record. The team now heads into Atlantic Sun Conference play with a 9-3 record, while Alabama A&M falls to 2-8 for the season.
Orgiles and Altur clinched the doubles point with a win over Cowcher and Moreira, followed by Brain and Dominguez securing another win. In singles, Orgiles, Dominguez, and Duran each won their matches, with Duran clinching the victory for the Lions from court three. Brain, Fedoryshyn, and Davis were leading in their respective matches before they went unfinished.
