This allocation is set to bolster safety measures in conjunction with an existing $700,000 budget for State House security. Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) spokeswoman Amanda Wasden noted that the funds will facilitate the hiring of additional ALEA troopers and provide necessary training and equipment to address various emergency situations.
