The Alabama Department of Corrections is seeking the public’s help in locating escaped inmate Antonio McCoy. McCoy, who was out at an assigned job location in Alexander City, left the area around 8 a.m. on Tuesday. Described as 5 feet 8 inches tall, 178 lbs., with brown eyes, McCoy has several distinctive tattoos including an angel with hearts, a skull with a hat and bandana, bullet holes and a dollar, and hands in shackles. He is serving a 35-year sentence for first-degree robbery out of Jefferson County.
