Gordon, a rising junior, flipped his commitment to the Knights, joining his high school teammate Keeyun Chapman in UCF’s 2026 class. Gordon cited his belief in cornerbacks coach Trovon Reed and head coach Gus Malzahn as key factors in his decision to commit to UCF, stating his confidence that they can help him achieve his goal of reaching the NFL. The talented cornerback had initially been committed to Alabama but ultimately chose to join the Knights after touring their campus and attending their Knight Splash event.
Gordon is highly ranked in both 247Sports’ composite rankings and On3 Sports, solidifying his status as a top recruit in the 2026 class. UCF now boasts multiple commits for the upcoming recruiting cycle, placing them in an elite group of FBS programs. In addition to Gordon and Chapman, the Knights have secured commitments from other promising athletes, further strengthening their recruiting class.
