Jalen Milroe Shines at NFLPA Rookie Premiere in Seattle Seahawks Uniform
Los Angeles, CA – Quarterback Jalen Milroe stepped into the spotlight during the 31st annual NFLPA Rookie Premiere on Saturday, sporting a full Seattle Seahawks uniform for the first time. The event, aimed at guiding the league’s future stars, featured seminars on financial planning, brand building, and networking opportunities with NFLPA business partners.
Milroe, chosen by the Seahawks in the third round of the recent draft, was among 42 rookies invited to the prestigious gathering. The former Alabama standout showcased impressive stats: 392 completions out of 603 attempts for 5,678 passing yards, along with 39 touchdowns and 17 interceptions. He also demonstrated his dual-threat ability with 1,257 rushing yards and 32 touchdowns over his two seasons as the Crimson Tide’s starting quarterback.
During the event, Fanatics unveiled each rookie’s jersey, while Panini organized photoshoots to capture the players in their new gear for collectible football cards. The NFL Players Association, which hosts the Rookie Premiere through its marketing arm, NFL Players Inc., aims to equip these young athletes with vital tools for success in their careers.
Milroe’s selection by Seattle comes as the team undergoes significant changes, with the departure of longtime starter Geno Smith, traded to the Las Vegas Raiders. The Seahawks have bolstered their quarterback room by signing Sam Darnold and Drew Lock. Darnold, who is expected to start in the 2025 season, signed a three-year contract worth $105.5 million.
The Seahawks’ offseason program kicks off with OTAs on May 27, followed by a mandatory minicamp from June 17-19, where Milroe and his teammates will dive deeper into preparations for the upcoming season.
Stay tuned for more updates on Milroe and the Seahawks as they prepare for the new NFL season.
