Boaz Police have identified the victim of a recent fatal stabbing at the Western Sizzlin parking lot as Albertville resident Terfils Juste Saint, 38. Police responded to a report of a stabbing at 2:20 p.m. and found Saint dead in the parking lot. A male suspect was seen running away from the scene and was later detained after a brief foot pursuit. The suspect, a 25-year-old man, is currently in custody at Marshall County Jail awaiting charges.
Authorities have stated that the preliminary investigation suggests that Saint and the suspect did not know each other, indicating that this was an isolated incident. Police have reassured the public that there is no further threat to their safety.
