The Honorable Tiffany B. McCord was appointed by Governor Kay Ivey to fill the unexpired term of Judge Johnny Hardwick on the Circuit Court of the 15th Judicial Circuit, Place-Nine. With 23 years of legal experience, McCord was sworn in on April 3, promising to uphold the rule of law and serve justice in a fair and impartial manner. She expressed gratitude to Governor Ivey for the appointment and acknowledged the responsibilities that come with filling Judge Hardwick’s shoes. Prior to this appointment, McCord served on the Montgomery County District Court and as the circuit clerk of Montgomery County. She is also a member of the Alabama State University Board of Trustees. McCord, a resident of Montgomery, is a graduate of Auburn University-Montgomery and Faulkner University’s Thomas Goode Jones School of Law. She is married to Darris McCord and has a daughter. McCord is excited to begin her new role on the highest court in Montgomery’s 15th Judicial Circuit and hopes to make Governor Ivey, Judge Hardwick, and the people of Montgomery County proud of her work on the bench.
