Global Gaming League, based in Las Vegas, partners with celebrities and entertainment for exciting video game experiences.

The Global Gaming League (GGL) is set to revolutionize the esports world by blending competitive gaming with entertainment. Founded by Grammy-nominated producer Clinton Sparks, the league aims to attract a wide audience by including celebrities like Snoop Dogg and Martha Stewart in team ownership roles. Sparks believes that this mix of entertainment and gaming culture will build bridges between different communities and make people more connected globally.

With a star-studded leadership team that includes rapper T-Pain and Las Vegas hospitality veteran Jason “JRoc” Craig, the GGL is already drawing attention. Celebrity team owners like Jermaine Dupri and Nick Cannon have signed on, and the league plans to debut its 43,000-square-foot campus in Las Vegas in December 2024. The inaugural season is set to launch in May 2025, with competitions streamed on various platforms and networks.

The GGL aims to bring legitimacy to gaming as a career and dispel the stigma that gaming is only for kids and nerds. Sparks believes that gaming has value beyond entertainment, citing studies that show it can help with critical thinking, problem-solving, and even depression. By introducing high-profile celebrities and professionals to the esports world, the GGL hopes to elevate gaming to the level of traditional sports like the NFL and MLB.
