An 80-year-old man in Michigan was struck by an ATV driver while putting up a Trump sign in his yard. The incident was part of a series of vandalism targeting individuals expressing support for Trump or law enforcement. A 22-year-old man contacted authorities claiming he was involved in the incident, then killed himself at his home in Quincy Township. The ATV believed to be involved in the crash was found at the scene, along with clothing matching the description of the suspect. The victim was in critical condition, and the nature of the political sign he was placing was not disclosed. The incidents were believed to be connected and carried out by the ATV driver. Authorities revealed that the victims had displayed Trump election signs or “thin blue line” stickers and flags. The Hancock Police Department and the Houghton County Sheriff’s Office are still investigating the case. Hancock is a small city in northern Michigan.
