Denver Jones’ Availability Listed on Initial Report for Texas A&M Game

Denver Jones is listed as “questionable” for Auburn’s upcoming game against Texas A&M due to an ankle injury sustained in their recent win over Kentucky. Auburn coach Bruce Pearl clarified that the injury is a soft tissue issue, not a bone bruise, and while Jones may miss some time, it won’t be long-term. Jones has been a key player for Auburn, starting all 29 games this season and averaging 10.7 points per game.

Despite Jones’ uncertain status, Auburn has already secured the SEC regular-season title and the No. 1 seed in the conference tournament. They are currently projected to be the No. 1 overall seed in the NCAA Tournament with two regular-season games left. The team is on a 7-game winning streak since their loss to Florida.

The game against Texas A&M is scheduled for Tuesday at 9 p.m. ET, airing on ESPN. Auburn will close out the regular season with a game against Alabama on Saturday. No Texas A&M players are listed on the availability report, making Jones the only questionable player for the matchup.

Fans will have to wait and see if Denver Jones will be able to take the court for Auburn as they look to continue their winning streak and solidify their standing as a top contender in the upcoming postseason tournaments.
