Tina Marie Sheffield Key, 60, Kenneth Michael Key, 60, and their 23-year-old daughter, Kaitlynn Marresa Key, face six counts of torture—one for each child—and an additional count of child abuse. The detainees were arrested on Tuesday after an investigation by the San Bernardino Sheriff’s Department revealed horrendous treatment endured by the children, who are between the ages of 4 and 16.
