Country music singer Chris Stapleton has announced his retirement from singing the national anthem, revealing the news on Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s podcast. Stapleson, who performed the anthem during the 2023 Super Bowl, explained that he used to turn down requests to sing the anthem, jokingly saying he would only do it at the Super Bowl.
