Conservative Republican Dustin Beaty Launches Campaign for Alabama House of Representatives

Dustin Beaty Announces Run for Alabama House District 13

Dustin Beaty, a conservative Republican and businessman, has entered the race for the Alabama House of Representatives District 13 seat in the upcoming special election. A lifelong Walker County resident, Beaty aims to bring bold, business-minded leadership to Montgomery while focusing on economic growth, mental health, and addiction recovery services.

With Matt Woods poised to win the State Senate election on June 24, Beaty is set to run for Woods’ vacated House seat. “We are on the cusp of so many great things in Walker County,” Beaty noted, emphasizing the need for a leader who understands the local community’s challenges and is committed to job creation.

Beaty’s campaign prioritizes attracting new jobs, expanding mental health and addiction treatment access, and defending conservative values, including support for President Trump’s America First agenda. He highlighted the importance of making Walker County a place where families can thrive, citing quality education, safe communities, and opportunities for youth as critical components of his vision.

In addition to economic and social issues, Beaty pledges to support first responders with necessary funding and training, ensuring community safety. “This race is about our communities — it’s about partnerships,” he remarked, underscoring his commitment to restoring opportunities for residents.

An entrepreneur and community advocate, Beaty has a background in pharmacy and operates Carbon Hill Drugs, alongside his wife, Shannon, with whom he also co-owns Lavish Coffee Bar and Boutique. They employ over 70 people in Walker County and actively participate in community initiatives.

Beaty’s candidacy represents a continuation of strong conservative leadership focused on job growth and addressing key local issues as he seeks to represent District 13.
