He detailed how rideshare apps employ AI for route optimization and how telecom companies utilize it to enhance service quality by reducing spectrum interference. Additionally, he highlighted AI’s influence on the entertainment sector, predicting viewer preferences and streamlining content creation.
Looking ahead, Hudson stressed the importance of infrastructure development in response to the growing demand for AI technology. With data center storage and energy consumption set to surge by 2030, robust fiber optic and wireless connectivity will be crucial to harness AI’s full potential.
He underscored global competition, particularly from countries like China, which has unveiled advanced AI models such as DeepSeek. Hudson urged the necessity for the U.S. to maintain its technological leadership, advocating for an environment that encourages innovation in AI.
