Critically, the hemp entrepreneur has voiced his frustrations over HB 445, a bill that hampers the hemp industry, condemning it as an example of government inefficiency. He supports introducing gambling and a state lottery to finance education, stating, “I’m tired of building schools in Georgia while ours crumble.”
Opting for grassroots engagement, Martin focuses on direct voter interaction through public events and social media, eschewing conventional campaign financing. His candidacy is anchored in building connections, aiming to foster a politics reflective of unity over cynicism. “You don’t have to be angry to be in politics,” he concluded, envisioning a collaborative future for Alabama.
