Readers have the opportunity to vote for the Cunningham Bounds Coastal Alabama Football Player of the Week once again this year. Coaches can submit statistics following Friday night games or nominate players by noon on Saturday. Nominations must come from a coach or official team statistician and can be emailed to bthomas@al.com. Voting is open until Wednesday morning, with the winner being announced on AL.com on Thursday.
Nominees for Week 8 include EJ Crowell from Jackson, Terrance Gray from Davidson, Shondell Harris from Mary G. Montgomery, Khatori Marion from Baker, Jermaine McCree from Williamson, Ladarien Miller from McGill-Toolen, Arterus Moffett from Saraland, Noah Moss from St. Michael, and Eli Owens from Citronelle.
The winner will be determined by reader votes, so be sure to hit the “finish survey” button after voting. Email votes will not be counted. The Weekly Winners so far this season have been J.J. Thibodeaux from Daphne, Caden Taylor from Satsuma, Jack O’Neil from McGill-Toolen, Turner Tillman from St. Luke’s, Jamison Roberts from Saraland, Taijh Overton from Williamson, and Tre Smith from Washington County.
Fans can get involved in recognizing the outstanding performances of high school football players in Coastal Alabama by participating in the voting process.
