Former Alabama football player Barrett Jones has been selected to represent the state of Alabama in the 2024 SEC Football Legends Class. Jones, a standout offensive lineman for the Crimson Tide from 2008 to 2012, was named a first-team All-American three times during his college career.
Jones, a native of Germantown, Tennessee, played a key role in Alabama’s success during his time with the team, helping lead the Tide to three national championships in 2009, 2011, and 2012. He was also a two-time winner of the Outland Trophy, which is awarded to the nation’s top interior lineman.
In addition to his success on the field, Jones was also a standout in the classroom, earning Academic All-American honors during his time at Alabama. After his college career, Jones went on to play in the NFL for the St. Louis Rams and Philadelphia Eagles.
Jones is one of 14 former SEC football players who will be honored as part of the 2024 SEC Football Legends class. The group includes some of the most talented and accomplished players in the conference’s history.
