Ravens’ Marlon Humphrey Set to Premiere Documentary on Alabama Crimson Tide
BALTIMORE – Baltimore Ravens cornerback Marlon Humphrey is stepping into the film industry alongside his fellow teammate, quarterback Lamar Jackson. While Jackson made his acting debut in Power Book III: Raising Kanan, Humphrey is venturing into documentary filmmaking.
On Tuesday, the two-time All-Pro athlete teased his upcoming documentary titled Nothing But A Winner, which he produced with his sister, Breona. Scheduled for theatrical release on July 31, the film delves into the rich history of the Alabama Crimson Tide football team, spotlighting the legendary coaching careers of Paul "Bear" Bryant and Nick Saban. Though the focus is on their tenures, the documentary will also cover the team’s developments in between.
"Excited to share the first look of my first film I exec produced with my sister," Humphrey announced on social media.
Humphrey, who played under Saban from 2014 to 2016, enjoyed a standout college career at Alabama, featuring 81 total tackles, 13 passes defended, and five interceptions. His contributions helped the Crimson Tide secure a national championship in 2015, earning him a first-team All-American selection in 2016.
The documentary will also include appearances from several former players, such as Philadelphia Eagles stars Jalen Hurts and DeVonta Smith, as well as Ravens Executive Vice President Ozzie Newsome, who played under Bryant. Newsome, acknowledged as “the greatest tight end in Alabama football history,” paid tribute to Bryant’s profound influence on his life and career.
Marlon Humphrey and his sister have previously explored their creative side through family entertainment, recording Christmas sing-alongs. With Nothing But A Winner, they aim to showcase the legacy of a football powerhouse and its enduring impact on sports culture.
