The Alabama Sports Hall of Fame announced its 2025 class, which will be inducted on May 3, 2025. The 57th class includes eight new members, bringing the total number of inductees to 409. The members were selected by a statewide selection committee through a ballot process.
Among the inductees are tennis player Roberta Alison Baumgardner, football player Keith Butler, track and field athlete Otis Davis, golfer Jason Dufner, football player Mark Ingram, basketball player Mike Mitchell, baseball player Charles “Butch” Moore, and football player Frank Warren.
Each inductee has a unique and impressive athletic career, with accomplishments ranging from winning Olympic gold medals to major championships in their respective sports. These new members will join the prestigious group of athletes already enshrined in the Alabama Sports Hall of Fame.
The induction ceremony on May 3, 2025, will be a special event celebrating the achievements and contributions of these outstanding athletes to the world of sports. The Alabama Sports Hall of Fame continues to honor and recognize the rich athletic history of the state by inducting deserving individuals into its esteemed institution.
