Alabama Big 10 Mayors Launch Annual Photo Competition
August 6, 2023 – The Alabama Big 10 Mayors have officially announced the kickoff of their annual statewide photo competition, inviting residents to showcase the beauty of the state’s ten largest cities. This exciting initiative aims to celebrate local pride and creativity while offering participants a chance to win a $500 cash prize.
Open for submissions from August 6 to September 2, the competition invites Alabamians to capture and share photographs representing one of the ten featured cities: Auburn, Birmingham, Decatur, Dothan, Hoover, Huntsville, Madison, Mobile, Montgomery, and Tuscaloosa. Interested individuals can submit their entries via direct message to the Alabama Big 10 Mayors’ Facebook page, where the contributors’ photographs will be shared on social media.
Voting for the winning photo will take place until September 9, with the entry garnering the most likes being declared the champion. The winner will not only receive a $500 Visa gift card but also recognition from the Alabama Big 10 Mayors, enhancing their visibility as a notable community contributor.
