Excitement Builds for Alabama-Mississippi High School Football All-Star Game

MOBILE, Ala. – The Alabama Mississippi High School Football All-Star Game is set to kick off this Saturday at noon at Hancock Whitney Stadium, bringing together some of the top high school talents from both states. Players from across Alabama arrived in Mobile on Thursday and quickly hit the practice field at the Jaguar Training Center.

The Alabama team, coached by Saraland’s Jeff Kelly, features a roster full of standout athletes. Among them is 4-star quarterback KJ Lacey, who has committed to Texas. Other notable Alabama players include 3-star wide receiver Carson Gill and 4-star defensive lineman Antonio Coleman, who has signed with Auburn. From Spanish Fort, 3-star linebacker Bishop Burkhalter will represent the Fort while Theodore’s 5-star offensive lineman Micah DuBose heads to Alabama.

Williamson players include Arkansas signee Taijh Overton at safety, alongside 4-star offensive tackle Carde Smith, who will play for Colorado. T.R. Miller’s Myles Johnson, a 3-star linebacker committed to Florida, and 3-star running back Kolin Wilson from Gulf Shores, who has signed with Mississippi State, round out the talented roster.

After practice, Thompson 5-star safety and Auburn signee Anquon Fagens shared his thoughts on the experience. “Practice has been very intentional. We’re trying to get better with each practice. There’s a lot of good talent across Alabama, and it’s great to come together as one to take the field one last time,” he said.

The All-Star Game promises to showcase elite high school football talent and a thrilling conclusion to the players’ high school careers. Fans are encouraged to come out to Hancock Whitney Stadium to witness this exciting matchup.
