IHG Hotels & Resorts has announced the signing of a 309-dual-branded hotel in Cascais, Portugal, in partnership with Grupo Onyria. The hotel, including Onyria Marinha Cascais, Vignette Collection and Kimpton Quinta da Marinha Cascais, is set to open between this and next year, adding to Portugal’s growing luxury and lifestyle hotel collection.
Situated in the heart of Quinta da Marinha, the hotels will offer a peaceful and secluded retreat in the Sintra-Cascais Natural Park with stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean. Guests will have access to sandy beaches, shops, and restaurants within walking distance, as well as being just a short drive from Lisbon International Airport.
Onyria Marinha Cascais, Vignette Collection will feature 111 keys, two restaurants, a bar, event spaces, and a range of outdoor activities like pools, a Tennis & Padel Club, and a Horse-Riding Centre. Kimpton Quinta da Marinha Cascais will offer 198 rooms, a spa, multiple dining options, and an 18-hole golf course, catering to families and business travelers alike.
These new properties will join IHG’s expanding luxury and lifestyle portfolio, which includes the recently signed Six Senses Comporta and Hotel Indigo Albufeira. With a focus on unique, design-forward experiences, IHG continues to grow its presence in Europe with eight Kimpton properties in the pipeline.
The signing of this dual-branded hotel further demonstrates IHG’s commitment to offering diverse and memorable experiences for travelers in popular destinations like Cascais.
