A cargo container and makeshift office for Buffalo Trace Distillery in Kentucky slid into the Kentucky River due to a weather-related mudslide. Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident. The distillery, which has a history dating back to 1771, has faced many challenges over the centuries, including floods and fires. Despite the mudslide, production and tours of the distillery have not been affected. Governor Andy Beshear mentioned that at least 22 people have died in recent winter weather-related incidents in the state. Cleanup efforts will be undertaken to address the damage caused by the mudslide, and the distillery will work closely with professionals to ensure safety and proper cleanup.
