Iron Mountain Hot Springs in Glenwood Springs, Colorado has recently expanded to include a new section called WorldSprings, featuring 13 pools inspired by hot springs from around the world. The pools, mixed with mineral recipes to replicate the properties of famous hot springs, aim to provide visitors with a unique and relaxing experience.
The new WorldSprings section includes pools inspired by locations such as Iceland, South Korea, Guatemala, Italy, Japan, and Australia. The expansion, which was in partnership with Off Road Capital Partners, adds to the existing 32 pools at Iron Mountain Hot Springs. This new addition includes a 21-and-over area with its own cafe serving cocktails, smoothies, and food.
The concept for WorldSprings was based on years of feedback from visitors and aims to create a social and wellness experience that brings the hot spring experience to cities across the U.S. The expansion also includes more pools directly over the Colorado River, a larger cold plunge, and private cabanas that can be booked by the river.
Iron Mountain Hot Springs is open daily from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m., and reservations for three-hour slots that include access to all pools are available for $59. The hope is to continue adding more pools and amenities in the future to enhance the experience for visitors.
