Alabama football had a successful month on the recruiting trail in June, securing commitments from 10 top prospects for the 2025 class. The Crimson Tide are looking to continue their momentum in July, with several key prospects set to make their decisions this month. Among the recruits with commitment dates locked in are Kaleb Edwards, Justin Hill, Travis Smith Jr, Rylon Dillard-Allen, Damien Shanklin, and Javeon Campbell. Alabama is considered to be in a strong position with four-star tight end Kaleb Edward, while remaining in the running for Hill, Smith, and Dillard-Allen.
Other top recruits without set commitment dates include Caleb Cunningham, Akylin Dear, and Ty Haywood. Cunningham, a five-star wide receiver, has named Alabama as his top choice and is expected to announce a decision this month. Dear, who recently decommitted from Ole Miss, is also leaning towards Alabama. Five-star wide receiver Derek Meadows is also looking to make a decision soon after visiting top programs including Alabama.
Ty Haywood, a top offensive lineman target, is poised to make an immediate impact wherever he chooses to play. Keelon Russell, the rising quarterback pledge, is actively recruiting other top prospects to join him at Alabama. With a strong recruiting class already, the Crimson Tide are looking to add even more talent in July. Justin Smith, Director of Recruiting for Touchdown Alabama Magazine, is closely monitoring the situation.
