Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs taken into custody

Sean “Diddy” Combs was arrested in the lobby of a hotel in New York City on Monday evening by federal agents based on a sealed indictment filed by the Southern District of New York. His attorney stated that Combs had voluntarily relocated to New York in anticipation of these charges and is cooperating with the investigation. Combs, a music icon and entrepreneur, has faced a wave of lawsuits accusing him of sexual assault and misconduct since November, including allegations from former girlfriend Casandra Ventura. Combs settled with Ventura but denied any wrongdoing. Other lawsuits have been filed by Dawn Richard, who worked for Combs and alleged sexual assault, and by others related to allegations of sex trafficking and illegal activities. Federal investigators raided Combs’ homes in Miami and Los Angeles in March regarding these allegations.
